2019 Lamborghini Huracan EVO Trim Levels

Before diving into the specs and features of the Huracan, let’s review the trim levels. The lowest and most popular trim is the 2-door coupe version. For the next trim, the Spyder is the convertible version of the Huracan with an option for all-wheel drive. The Performante gives customers the choice between an improved coupe or improved Spyder convertible

2019 Lamborghini Huracan EVO Engine Specs

Each version of the 2019 Lamborghini Huracan EVO uses the same engine for different results. With a displacement of 5.2L, the V10 engine provides the power that makes the Huracan as fast as its design. A 7-speed automated manual transmission gives the driver control over sport shifting whenever they want it. Even if the engine size and number of cylinders does not change from trim to trim, the horsepower ranges from 571 to 630.

Other Features of the 2019 Lamborghini Huracan EVO

If you’re looking for premium technology inside the Huracan, you will have to get the interior options for it. Tech like Bluetooth and smartphone connectivity do not come standard on the Lamborghini Huracan EVO. That should not be surprising, considering that the Huracan is dedicated to performance and style above all else. The Lamborghini Sonsonum® equipment option upgrades the sound experience of the Huracan with 8 speakers and 2 subwoofers.

Lamborghini has launched the Spyder variant of the Huracan Evo in India today and we thought you’d like to see this scintillating car in all its details.

Lamborghini launched the scintilating Huracan Evo Spyder in India today. The Huracan Evo is the latest iteration of the Huracan range which Lamborghini introduced at the beginning of this year and soon followed it with a Spyder version of the same. Now the Lamborghini Huracan Evo Spyder is here in India and we thought you might want to explore the car in little more detail. So here’s everything you need to know about the Lamborghini Huracan Evo Spyder.

Design and Styling

Well, you see the face and you know its a Huracan. But look closer and you will know what sets the Evo apart. The front bumper has been completely redesigned for better aerodynamics and downforce. Move over to the sides and its surprising how Lamborghini has maintained a clean profile with the roof up. Generally, coupes lose their silhouette when made into convertibles but this hasn’t. And that’s great.

The rear deck however has been redesigned to accomodate the folding roof and it also gets a revised engine cover, of course available for personalization. The rear of the car is pretty identical to the standard Huracan Evo with sleek LED tail lamps, twin exhausts around the license plate and an aggressive diffuser down below.

Interiors and Features
The interiors of the Huracan Evo Spyder are identical to the one in the coupe. Still, there are some interesting bits to note that have been updated from the last iteration of the Huracan. And that is the vertically mounted 8.4-inch touchscreen system that sits on the center console. The stack of buttons are gone but thankfully the toggle switches on the upper portion of the dashboard has been retained.

The Huracan Evo Spyder also gets a fully-digital instrument cluster that shows you G-force reading, lap timer, acceleration and more. The alcantara wrapped steering wheel and the gorgeous paddle shifters are beautiful to hold as well. Other highlights are the hexagonal motifs that you see all around the cabin including the AC vents. But the most important feature would be the Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata (LDVI) chassis control system which is the brain of the car, optimizing each driving aspect at every moment.

Powertrain
Now this is the most special part about any Lamborghini. The Huracan Evo Spyder is powered by same engine as the Huracan Evo Coupe – a monstrous 5.2 liter, naturally aspirated V10 engine that churns out 640hp and 600Nm. No turbochargers, no electrification. Just the pure bliss of a naturally breathing engine. The engine comes mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and power is sent to all four wheels as standard

Performance and Other Mechanicals
The Lamorghini Huracan Evo Spyder sprints from 0-100 kph in just 3.1 seconds. That’s 0.2 seconds slower than the coupe though. 0-200 kph comes up in another 6.2 seconds and floor the pedal and the car will hit a top-speed of 325 kph. And that’s identical to the coupe.

However, this being a Spyder, it is 120 kgs heavier than the coupe. Talking about the roof, it uses an electro-hydraulic setup which helps lower it in 17sec, at speeds of up to 50kph. There are also automatic pop-up rollover bars are placed behind the seats. Other mechanical components include rear-wheel steering and torque vectoring system.

Price and Competition
The Lamborghini Huracan Evo Spyder has been priced at Rs. 4.1 crores, ex-showroom in India. The standard Huracan Evo retails in India for Rs. 3.73 crores, ex-showroom. That means the Spyder variant is 28 lakhs more expensive than the coupe. Yes, its quite expensive but this being a Lamborghini, you can’t expect any lesser. As for rivals, the Huracan Evo Spyder competes with the Ferrari 488 Spider and the Audi R8 Spyder in India.
